Last year during this exact week, I saw The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in Rome with my roommate Katelyn and her mom when we visited her in Viterbo!
- When you bought your tickets you chose your seats on a screen
- They sold three different kinds of popcorn: movie theater butter, chocolate and caramel
- The seats were extremely comfy
One thing that was strange was halfway through the movie the lights turned on and the screen said, "INTERMISSION." I've never experienced this before but there was an eight minute break and one of the employees even came to the screening room with a concessions caddy like the employees at baseball games walk around the aisles with.
We watched the english version of the movie, but with Italian subtitles. I remember when I was watching Catching Fire the subtitles were a major distraction and I found myself concentrating on them more than the actual movie - partly because I was curious about how to say all of the Italian. However, this time around I enjoyed having the subtitles below because I understood a lot of the phrases!
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 comes out next year...I guess that means I'll have to go to Rome again to watch the finale, right? :)
